| Abstract: | By means of columnar and thin-layer chromatography, the presence of carotenoids in Gordius aquaticus L. (Nematomorpha, Nemathelminthes) from deep wells was studied.The investigations revealed the presence of the following carotenoids:  -carotene, mutatochrome, -cryptoxanthin, ,-carotene epoxide,lutein, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin ester. |
