Changes in abscisic and gibberellic acids contents during the release of potato seed dormancy

Abstract:Gas chromatographic measurements demonstrated that the content of endogenous gibberellic acid increased and that of abscisic acid decreased during storage of potato seeds, suggesting that the dormancy of the seeds is controlled by the balance between these two hormones. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.
