人甲状旁腺激素的研究

摘    要:人甲状旁腺激素(hPTH)是甲状旁腺分泌的多肽激素。它能与骨基质和肾细胞膜上专一性的受体相结合,将调节细胞中钙磷浓度的信号传导到膜内。hPTH活性片段在N端,其N端氨基酸序列与牛、猪PTH高度同源。hPTH及其活性片段在治疗骨及肌肉疾病方面有重要作用,重组hPTH已获成功。

Abstract:Human parathyroid hormone (hPTH) is a polypeptide hormone which is secreted from the parathyroid glands. It regulates the concentration of blood calcium and phosphate by binding to specific receptors in the renal and osseous tissues, in which process the adenylate cyclase system is stimulated and some related enzymes are activated. There are some conserved domains in hPTH which are responsible for its function. The amino acid sequence of N-ter-minal region of hPTH is highly homologous to those of bovine PTH and porcine PTH. The biologically active hPTH fragment has been reported to be effective in the treatment of disorders in muscle and bone. It also has effects on cardiovascular system. Recombinant hPTH is now available.
