| Abstract: | A simple, efficient strategy for the preparation of fully-protected acylpeptide hydrazides with hydrazine-labile sidechains is described. The method involves controlled hydrazinolytic cleavage of target peptides from assemblies elaborated by solid (gel) phase synthesis on phenolic peptide resins. |
