Abstract: | - A diurnal study of inland fresh water lake has been made with respect to physical and chemical properties and the plankton.
- Chlorides have followed the total carbonates while dissolved oxygen and pH have shown no relation.
- Microcystis has followed no definite pattern of diurnal movement.
- All crustaceans, some of the rotifers andTrachelomonas perform considerable diurnal movement in the course of a twenty four hour period.
