| Abstract: | Summary Morphology and reproduction of Chroococcidiopsis mysorensis sp. nov., isolated from enrichment cultures of paddy field soils of Naganahalli (India), have been described. The taxonomic status of the genus Chroococcidiopsis has been discussed suggesting it to be placed under the order Chroococcales. |
