| Abstract: | Evidence for the translocation of auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins and abscisic acid and some of its metabolites in the phloem is reviewed. Problems associated with collection of sieve tube exudates and analysis of samples are discussed as are some of the possible functions of the translocated hormones. |
