Abstract: | The emotional stress decreased contractility and adrenoreactivity in normotensive rats, while in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) the changes were less pronounced. The changes in adrenoreactivity, as well as increased permeability of smooth muscle cells for calcium and reduced reactivity to exogenous calcium revealed in hypertensive animals contribute to high resistance of portal vein smooth muscles to stress. |
