| Abstract: | The advances in detection and control of microbial contamination of plant cultures in vitro are reviewed, i. e. the detection of microbial contamination with indexing cultures and their identification; the control of epiphytic organism by taking the explants under protected condition and effective pretreatment and the control of endophytic organism by the application of antibiotics. |
