| Abstract: | Summary 1.The presence of pigments in Branchiopoda of an intense brown colour - Apus cancriformis (Boss.) was studied. 2.In extracts separated by means of column and thin-layer chromatography, the following carotenoids were identified: \gb-carotene, y-carotene, echinenone, canthaxanthin, lutein and xanthophyll.Synonym Trops cancriformis |
