| Abstract: | Summary We have shown that if the medium supplemented with foetal calf serum (FCS) is continuously dialysed against a large volume of medium without FCS, the growth of human diploid fibroblasts on microcarriers is more rapid and yields are more consistent. This approach allows a considerable saving of serum. |
