| Abstract: | A lowland brook-pond system, polluted with organic waste was aerated with a new aeration method. The macrobenthic fauna was investigated. Aeration proved to increase the total number of animals and the species diversity. The total number of individuals and the biomass was rather stable during the different seasons. |
