| Abstract: | A review of methods of DNA analysis used in forensic medicine for identification, paternity testing, etc. is provided. Among other techniques, DNA fingerprinting using different probes and polymerase chain reaction-based techniques such as amplified sequence polymorphisms and minisatellite variant repeat mapping are thoroughly described and both theoretical and practical aspects are discussed. |
