Method of inserting thin-walled polymeric cannulas and catheters into vessels of diameter up to 0.2 mm

To facilitate cannulation of thin blood vessels, a removable sharpened metal wire was inserted into a catheter. It made it possible to cannulate vessels under 0.2 mm in diameter with thin-walled soft flexible plastic tubes.
