| Abstract: | Chlamydia trachomatis and Chlamydia pneumoniae genomes contain genes coding for type III secretion apparatuses. Like other pathogens, Chlamydia probably uses this system to secrete proteins in the host cell. With the aim of identifying such proteins, we analyzed the organization of Chlamydia type III secretion genes. |
