摘    要:The β-ketoadipate pathway, a primarily chromo-somally encoded catabolic route that plays a signifi-cant role in the degradation of aromatic compounds, is widely distributed in soil bacteria and fungi[1]. This pathway consists of two parallel branches of which the aromatic rings are cleaved by either protocatechuate 3,4-dioxygenase or catechol 1,2-dioxygenase.
