| Abstract: | Summary Temperature sensitivity of growth and DNA synthesis was tested in merogenotes heterozygous for thednaA allele. All combinations tested (FdnaA+/dnaA5, FdnaA+/dnaA46, FdnaA+/dnaA204, FdnaA5/dnaA+, FdnaA204/dnaA+) were temperature sensitive. The mutantdnaA allele is thus trans-dominant to the wild type allele. |
