云南鲤科鱼类一新属新种(鲤形目:鲤科:(鱼丹)亚科)

本文记述采自云南澜沧江水系的鲤科(鱼丹)亚科鱼类一新属新种。新属裸(鱼丹)属Gymnodanio gen.nov.在侧线、臀鳍条数目等特征上近似于低线(?)属Barilius,但以其除侧线鳞外体裸露无鳞,具不完全之腹棱等而与其及(鱼丹)亚科现有各属相区别。新种命名为条纹裸(鱼丹)G.strigatus sp.nov.。

A NEW GENUS AND A NEW SPECIES OF CYPRINID FISHES FROM YUNNAN, CHINA (CYPRINIFORMES: CYPRINIDAE: DANIONINAE)

Gymnodanio, gen. nov.Type species: Gymnodanio strigatus sp. nov.Body elongate, slightly compressed; abdomen rounded, with a scaleless keel between ven-trals and anal. Mouth terminal very obique, maxillary extending to vertical orbital under anterior edge of eye. No knob symphysis of lower jaw fitting into an emargination in upper jaw. Barbus absent. body scaleless, except the lateral line. The tube-bearing scales in front large and rounded, but the scales in latter half small and elliptical. Lateral line complete, descending abruptly on pectoral and rounding low over ventral, then straightly ascend on anal origin, becomes median behind half of the caudal base. Dorsal ray iii, 7; its origin little behind ventral origin. Anal ray iii, 11-13; not extended. Pharyngeal teeth in two rows, taper and hooked. Gill rakers sparse and short. Peritoneal membrance silvery grey, with many black spots.Gymnodanio strlgatus sp. nov. (fig. 1)Holotype No. 8810108, total length 75 mm, standard length 58.5 mm. Paratypes 21 specimens, total length 48-83 mm, standard length 37.5-65 ram. They are all from Jinggu county, Yunnan, belonging to Mekong River System. Syntype kept in the freshwater fish Museum of the Intitule of Hydrobiology, Academia Sinica.D. iii, 7; A. iii, 11-13; P. i, 11-13; V. i, 7-8. Scales in lateral line 71-78. Gillrakers 5-6 (out). Pharyngeal teeth 3.5-5.3. Vertebrate 4 + 36-37.Depth of body contained in body length 4.7-5.6, length of head 3.6-4.3, length of caudal peduclc 4.8-6.4. Length of snout contained in length of head 3.4-4.1, diameter of eye 2.8-3.3, interobital space 2.9-3.5. Deepth of caudale peduncle contained in its length 1.7-2.3.
