| Abstract: | This study was performed to determine whether two ginseng species (Panax ginseng and Panax quinquefolius) can be identified by genetic analysis and to verify pyrosequencing analysis, which was used to assess genetic variation. The pyrosequencing results constituted clear data. Panax quinquefolius showed a very different pattern than Panax ginseng. Pyrosequencing analysis might be able to identify the Panax species. |
