| Abstract: | A sensitive assay, based on the acylation of tRNAMet, has been developed to measure the enzymatic reduction of methionine sulfoxide to methionine. Using this assay, methionine sulfoxide reductase has been purified to near homogeneity from extracts of Escherichia coli. |
