| Abstract: | Tec family kinases (TFKs) are ancient kinases, vital for the development of both mammals and fruit flies. The first TFKs were described 20 years ago, and one of them, BTK, was found to be vital for B-lymphocyte development. However, during the last five years several seminal discoveries have been made, significantly advancing our understanding of these signal transducers. |
