Abstract: | Synopsis Following the administration of isoprenaline subcutaneously to rats, the proportion of myocardial muscle fibres stained by Formazan produced by succinate dehydrogenase activity was measured. Measurements were made manually and with a flying-spot microscope. Both methods gave the same results, but the automated system has advantages of speed.Paper given at the Royal Microscopical Society's European Histochemistry Meeting at Nottingham in September 1975. |
