Abstract: | Important new polymerase chain reaction-based techniques have been developed to assist in genome analysis. Applications range from genetic and physical mapping of DNA to sequence analysis. The polymerase chain reaction has played a significant role in increasing the feasibility of many aspects of genome analysis and positional cloning. |
