Abstract: | Nucleophilic substitution reaction of 6-chloro-2-fluoro-9-beta-D-ribofuranosyl-9H-purine derivative, prepared from guanosine, with potassium 15N]phthalimide at 40 degrees C for 9 h in DMF, followed by hydrolysis, afforded 2-(15)N]guanosine derivative efficiently. The corresponding 2'-deoxy derivative was also synthesized through a similar procedure. |
