| 摘 要： | 本文报道1988－1996年在湖南莽山国家级自然保护区一带采集和记录到蛇类标本750余号46种，隶4科25属。综合原有记录，莽山地区一带蛇类资源现共记录到4科27属50种。

| Abstract: | During 1988 to 1998,750 specimens of 46 snake species belonging to 25 genera and 4 families have been collected and recorded in National Mt. Mang Nature Reserve. UP date, there are totally 50 snake species belonging to 27 genera and 4 families found in National Mt. Mang Nature Reserve. A list of the snake species is given in the table. The species density,faunal elements, distribution pattern, and medicogeographic division(Zhao, 1991 ) are discussed. The Mt. Mang pit-viper, the most giant species of poisonous snakes in China, is known only horn this region; the importance of its conservation is specially emphasize. |
