| Abstract: | The review briefly describes the structure and function of complex carbohydrates of glycoproteins and proteoglycans both in general and with particular respect to the potential roles sugar chains may play in the cupula, i.e. the molecular organization of these constituents, their biophysical properties, and their biological functions. |
