| Abstract: | Fish lactate dehydrogenase differs from the mammalian enzyme by virtue of tissue-specific non-random tetramerization of its two subunits, which can be random in vitro. The primary structures of the subunits are therefore not the sole determinants of the quaternary structure of the completed molecule. |
