On the taxonomic position of Tomentypnum Loeske

Abstract

Evidence is presented for removing Tomentypnum from the usual position near Homalotheeium in the Brachytheciaceae and placing it near Drepanoeladus vernieosus and D. lapponieus in the Amblystegiaceae.
