Vorticity Control in Fish-like Propulsion and Maneuvering

Abstract:Vorticity control is employed by marine animals to enhance performancein maneuvering and propulsion. Studies on fish-like robots andexperimental apparatus modelling rigid and flexible fins providesome of the basic mechanisms employed for controlling vorticity.
