| Abstract: | Chromosome numbers are reported for 48 collections representing 15 species and three varieties ofNama. Counts for 10 taxa are initial reports, all being diploid withn = 7. Diploid counts forN. jamaicense (n = 7), previously known only as tetraploid, are also reported. Comments on the taxonomic relationships of selected taxa are included. |
