| Abstract: | Data are presented which demonstrate that the α-N-benzoyl-l-argine ethyl ester rate assay procedure, based on a burst titration with N-benzyloxy-carbonyl-l-tyrosine p-nitrophenyl ester as previously desribed (1), is an accurate and reliable method for determining the normality of papain in solution. |
