Species of the genus Ilythea from China (Diptera: Ephydridae) |

| Abstract: | The genus Ilythea Haliday is recorded from China for the first time. A new species, Ilythea menglaensis sp. nov., is described, and Ilythea japonica Miyagi is recorded. A key to the Chinese species of Ilythea is presented. |
