| Abstract: | Summary The presence of sucrose synthetase and sucrose phosphate synthetase has been demonstrated in two species of green algae:Chlorella vulgaris andScenedesmus obliquus. Partial purification from crude extracts allowed the determination of the kinetic constants of algae enzymes.
