| Abstract: | As a new molecular biology technology,the gene chip technology was developed in the field of life science in the middle of 1990s,which fused the achievement of several subjects,such as life science,physics,electronics,computer science and bioinformatics,and was widely used in many different fields.A brief summary for the background,principles,methods,characteristics and types of gene chip was presented here,and the particular emphasis was placed on the application of gene chip in discovering novel genes in the field of life science. |
