| Abstract: | Acidification in mesocosms resulted in a rapid shift from picoplanktonto net plankton. This resulted in increased transparency relativeto controls, despite greater algal biomass in the acidifiedmesocosms. We observed a significant positive relationship betweentransparency and percent net plankton in the algal community. |
