Exploration and practice of a new teaching model of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in English

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is not only an essential major course, but also directs stu- dents to the rapid development of research. Through exploration and practice of teaching Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in English, we have established an innovative teaching model. The innovation measures include original English textbook, professional English instruction in class, interactive question and answer section, quiz,： assignment, reference study and seminar, and dramatic performance of metabolic pathway. These innovations enrich the course and diversify the evaluation system. Such a new teaching model inspires students＇ interest and provides more opportunities for students to develop their talents, skills and abilities, thus it is effective in delivering knowledge and widely acclaimed by the students.
