Abstract: | The motility of organospecific macrophages of the abdominal cavity, spleen, lungs and liver, observed in the presence of serogroup A Neisseria meningitidis polysaccharide, formalin-killed Bordetella pertussis and acetone-treated Salmonella typhimurium, has been studied. In these experiments CBA, C57BL/6 and (CBA X C57BL/6)F1 mice have been used. The in vitro study of the motility of cells in the system of mononuclear phagocytes in the presence of bacterial antigens has revealed that these cells are functionally heterogeneous, which is manifested differently in mice of varying strains. |
