| Abstract: | Our long-term surveys have shown improvement in the status of floodplain oak groves in the middle course of the Khoper River after their former mass die-offs. The structure of all forest layers was analyzed, the ontogenetic spectra of the main forest-forming species were studied, and the dynamics of the parcellar structure was revealed. Four levels of wood-pathological and anthropogenic transformation of regional flood-plain oak groves have been established for the first time on the basis of floristic and phytocenotic changes in disturbed forest communities. Diagnostic criteria for their detection have been developed. |
