| Abstract: | Mayerella magellanica McCain & Gray, 1971 is redescribed and figured based on specimens collected from Huasco, Northern Chile, which represents the northernmost record of this species. Mayerella magellanica can be distinguished from all other species of the genus by the long basis of gnathopod 2. Figures of all species of Mayerella and a key to identification are given. |
