| 摘 要： | 严重急性呼吸道综合症(SARS)的病原体己被认定为一种新的冠状病毒-SARS冠状病毒。关于SARS冠状病毒的基因组和蛋白组研究也已取得重要进展，这为探索SARS病毒的来源与进化、研制SARS诊断试剂、开发SARS疫苗和治疗药物奠定了坚实基础。本文对严重急性呼吸道综合症病原学研究取得的一些进展进行了综述。 |

| Abstract: | A novel coronavirus-SARS coronavirus has been affirmed as the pathogen of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), and important research progress has been made on its biological characters, genome and proteome of SARS coronavims. Undoubtedly, these achievements will establish a steady base for us to explore the origination and evolution of this virus, develop diagnostic tests, and to produce vaccines and effective drugs. This paper summarizes some recent advances in the studies on SARS and its pathogeny. |
