| Abstract: | Muscle D-GPDH from Anas sp. ws isolated and purified. Basic kinetic constants and physico-chemical studies are reported. The enzyme is a tetramer with a mol. wt of 140,000. Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis gave s single band with a mol. wt of approx. 36,000. The other catalytic properties of the enzyme are discussed relative to those of enzyme obtained from other sources. |
