Abstract: | The biosynthesis of prostacyclin in cultured endothelial cells from human umbilical cord vein was inhibited by linoleic acid hydroperoxide at a concentration of 0.1 nmol/ml (in terms of malondialdehyde), while that in cultured smooth muscle cells from rabbit aorta was inhibited only at a higher concentration of the hydroperoxide (5.0 nmol/ml). |
