| Abstract: | Irradiation of buoyant, gas-vacuolate cells of the cyanobacteriumMicrocystis aeruginosa by 5·104 Wm–2 of blue light for 1 h caused a 5% loss of extractable ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase activity compared to dark and red-light controls.
