Preparation of highly-purified melittin from bee venom by an affinity chromatography method |

| Abstract: | The method of melittin (a lytic peptide from bee venom) purification is described. The method is based on application of immunosorbent with antibodies against phospholipase A2 and permits obtaining peptide without the residual phospholipase activity. It can be also used for the phospholipase A2 purification from melittin admixtures. |
