Aphanizomenon flos-aquae: Infection by Cyanophages |

| Abstract: | This report presents electron microscopic observations of a virus infection of Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (L.) Ralfs and investigations on the presence of the causative cyanophage in a moderately eutrophic lake. The results indicate that the cyanophages regulate termination of the water-bloom of this alga. |
