| Abstract: | The large potential market for Rhizobium inoculum, both in the USA and elsewhere, is stimulating research into the basic biology of Rhizobium—legume interaction. The application of genetic engineering techniques promises to produce rapid improvement in Rhizobium inoculum strains. At present, however, identification of those traits that will enhance inoculum performance is difficult. |
