| Abstract: | Cultured green Lavandula vera cells were irradiated with variousdosages of gamma rays which increased the variation in the amountof free biotin produced by the cell clones. Variant sublinescontaining much more free biotin than the original line wereobtained by repeated selection. The effectiveness of gamma raysfor the induction of the variant sublines is described.
