| Abstract: | The influence of unstirred layers in osmotic experiments designed to measure the osmotic permeability of a tubule wall is considered. Results are given in the form of a set of graphs whose axes are closely related to observed and known experimental parameters. These enable osmotic permeability values to be obtained which are closer to the true values. |
