Abstract:In this note we discuss how, by using budding yeast as model organism (as has been done in the past for biochemical, genetics and genomic studies), the integration of "omics" sciences and more specifically of proteomics with systems biology offers a very profitable approach to elucidating regulatory circuits of complex biological functions.
