| Abstract: | Incubation of partially depyrimidinated superhelical or linear DNA with the peptide lysyl-tryptophyl-α-lysine results in specific cleavage of the DNA at the base loss sites. No differences were found between the rates of breakage of apyrimidinic sites and apurinic sites in superhelical DNA. |
